Can anyone estimate the weight (boat trailer and motor) of my 95 Cajun 1950 F/S, w/150 Johnson?
2000 pounds, excluding anything else in the boat.
I would have to say more than 2000lbs.....I know my 1850 is 1920lbs. dry weight, hull alone, so I'd imagine your hull is probably about 2000lbs. I am not too familiar with trailer weights or motor weights, so I can't help much there.
I was using weights given at http://www.nadaguides.com, it gives a dry hull weight of a 95 1850 at 1600 pounds, that plus 350 for the outboard and another 200 for the trailer gives around 2150 pounds. Maybe they have bad hull weight data?
I just checked the weights for my boat, and it seems to be off, as to what the information I have on my boat shows. I don't know if the motor weights or trailer weights are good or not, but will probably give a good estimation, even if they are off.
Check and make sure that the weight's your getting include boat AND trailer. (see the foot notes)
