The first 5 hours are done....

So far, I am really impressed with the SHO. This thing sips gas, much like the Merc Pro XS. The holeshot is second to none and I got it up to 80.0 today with 2 people, 1/2 fuel, and full tourny load. I think I need to re-hang the motor to get some more propshaft height with the Hydro plate and the motor still needs to loosen up some. I was thinking I could get around 82-83 when I got the boat and that is a doable number. I have 3 props waiting to try once I get it to 10 hours.
Now, the boat......what can I say, it fishes great. The day box in front of the driver's console is handy! Its hard to remember what it was like fishing out of my 202, thanks to the huge front deck of the 625. I haven't played with the Lowrance downscan/sidescan much, but it is cool.

Thanks for the report Jason. I've been drooling over the 625's for a while now. Still love my 202 though. Keep us posted.

Sounds good Jason, i agree that you will find a couple more mph with the right prop.

Jason, I got my 625/sho a couple weeks after you did. I've seen a best of 83.6 loaded single, and 82.1 loaded double. Summer temps. But ran out of room both times. Still getting used to the hyd plate, and I'm sure there's more in it. I will say I'm shocked at how much better the rough water ride is than my 210/250 combo. It really shined this week, in the Bass open on Oneida, the lake rolled for 3 days with mostly 3-4's with a 5 mixed in here and there, and it took it really well.
