Raise the motor up if you can without losing water pressure.

I think i can go up alittle more at wot it is running about 20-22 on water pressure, another question ive had this boat a couple of weeks it has special edition stickers on it, any difference in that than the regular 202's?

Not real sure, but that is a fast hull. You have plenty psi so come up on that motor some more.

well i was wrong about the 2in below the pad it was 3! raised it up to 2in ran it this evening got it to 73 gps with both gas tanks 3/4 full two people and fishing gear a good bit a gear too, still got good water pressure around 20 wot 5650-5700 i think i might raise it alittle more any thoughts? I keep seeing where people run these 202's around one inch below the pad are they doing this with stock lower unit?

Keep coming up until you're even with pad or lose psi, might have a couple more mph to give you.

got it at 1 1/2 below the pad 74-75 gps two people tournament load, i think thats pretty dang good for a 200 and screamin! wot 5750rpm takes it alittle to get out of the hole but once it hits the pad its gone! those mariner's seem to be a real stout motor

What prop are you running? I have the same setup on a 97 202 with a 200 yamaha and can only get 69. My boat is loaded pretty heavy.
