    got near new boat fever

One of these days I am going to get a new boat. Probably not a brand new boat, unless I buy 625 Pro Elite.

wonder how the 625 compares to my 210 in rough water. At one time it was all about speed with me, now starting to be more concerned about getting caught bad weather a long way from the ramp on Falcon lake, its brutal at times.

    anybody had both to compare

WWDIII, I have owned both the Pro V 210 and now the 625 Pro Elite. They are both great boats and the 625 is much better at handling rough water and you will not sacrafice any speed. Lake Guntersville gets rough at times and the 625 has performed great for me. The raised front deck is near 14" wider than the 210 and that makes it better fishing in rough conditions also.

I've ridden in both of them and the 625 does handle better in rough water.

Re: got near new boat fever (calvin202)

I've seen the 625 being built, talked to Keith when I was at the factory to pick up a trailer and he gave me the quick skinny on how he made mold. But didnt spend enough time talking to him about the ride and havent been in one.

In fact I havent seen a finished one. Guess I need to get around and find one to get a better look and feel for

    Thanks, Billy

I had Ken's boat running 65 with 3 people on board in some pretty rough water on Guntersville and it was awesome.
