mounting Structure Scan Transducer

One of these days I am going to add structure scan. Been thinking about where the best place to mout the transducer would be on my 210. I would think the jackplate would be a bood place. Its a big transducer, concerned about drag and knocking it off.

Anybody mounted one on a 210 pro V

I have my SI transducer mounted on the skid plate on my JP.... no problems as of yet and it has been on for 18 months.

I don't have a skid plate, been thinking about making one, just keep forgetting. first thing I better do is get my hands on a structure scan
