    Cold temp's ,More RPM's

Running a 96 200 Vinicator, now that the water and air have cooled so much my motor will turn more rpm's than I care for it to. I have been holding it at 5500, with more throttle left. What is a safe range to operate this engine? Its on a big ole heavy 391XT all the way down on the transom, it really surprised me it would turn that much with a 24 trophy.

As long as you don't go above 5900 for very long, I would say all is well.....
