Hey guys, just wanted to brag a little. My buddy and I got our first tournament win out of my new boat at Lake Weiss last saturday. We had five that weighed 15.12lbs and also had big fish, a 4.85lb largehead. We also had one other l/m over 4lbs and a hammerhead spot that was right at 4lbs...Felt good to get a win out of the new rig, we were due. I can't say enough about how well that big Hammer runs. We made a long run up river from blast off and were fishing for at least 10 minutes before the next boat got up to where we stopped. Not sure what top speed was though, as I was so focused on the water ahead that I didn't think to look at the gps. I did however stretch her out to 80.2 on the way back to the weigh in, and that was with livewells full of water and fish, and roughly half a fuel load. I know there are faster rigs out there, but I'm very pleased with the performance of my rig, especially when loaded...Later...
