Guys first I got to say I love the bang for the buck you get from a Blazer! Talked to some guys from Blazer at the Houston Boat Show last weekend, and they are some nice folks. Only bad thing was, they didn't have a single bass boat from the Blazer line to look at. They only brought the Bay boats to the show.

I talked to them about the bass boats and I can get a 210 dual console w/ Merc 225 xs for the same price as a Triton Tr200 with standard Merc 225 Opti.

As you can imagine I love this idea!

My question is: I have a Cobra 201 now, and from the photos it looks like the 210 is narower than my 201. I know the beam is about 2 inches narower than my Cobra, but since I haven't seen one in person, I thought I would ask if you guys ever feel like the front of that boat gets a little cramped?

    Thanks

I came out of a ranger 520, which is rather wide in the front, and although the 210 is narrower, I really like the design as it makes it much easier if you do much flipping from the front of the boat......I have fished 2 on the front deck and the width loss does not bother me one bit..... When you take in to consideration all the positives of the design, which include increased speed, a giant cockpit area, and what you get for the price, I think the 210 is hard to beat....and for the money I do not think it can be beat !

202 and 210 deck width is the same. In my 202, only gets crowded if I have more than 8 rods on the deck....4 on each side. I seldom have that many but have buddies that fish w/ 20 on the deck all the time. A Blazer is not for them.

To Jeff's point, there is an advantage to a narrower deck...you can flip from the center of the boat...don't have to walk to the side.

I hope this helps. Don't just look, ride and drive one before you buy. You won't be disappointed.

I most certainly want to ride in one... Got a number of a guy who lives near me who owns a 202, but I would love to ride in a 210. Anyone live in the Houston area with a 210 want to take me for a ride on Conroe when the wind gets up? I want to see how this thing does in the chop.

A relative of mine lives on Conroe, and if all works out I will be down there fishing in the next few weeks...... If you have not found anyone by then I will send you a note and you can take a ride in mine.

Make sure you catch a ride with someone that has lot's of seat time so you can get a good feel for the rig. especially in chop
