How are your Fish Finders Mounted ?? Where at, and do you like it ??

I was wondering if anyone is a little discouraged at the placement of their GPS/Fishfinders behind the steering wheels of their blazers ?? If so, and you have done something different with them, i would love to see. I am wanting to get a Lowrance 332C but i dont plan on putting it where the graph is now, because i wont be able to see it while i'm running.. I have to say, that this is the only thing on a blazer that i just dont care for !! Please post pictures so i can see what you have done to correct this problem..

The only other real option is to mount it on a RAM style mount to the right-hand side of the console. I agree the placement in your boat allows poor visibility. The way that I combatted that was to adjust my steering wheel (I had tilt). This gave me an awkward steering position, but if I needed to use the GPS for navigation then that's just what I had to do.

Word is that a new dash design is now being tested/used so hopefully that solved this issue.

I used the RAM mount as well on the right side of the console. Had the GPS antenna mounted on the rear right corner of the cap, but a fishing buddy kicked it off After that I mounted the antenna under the windshield. Works great and will never get kicked off again.
