ray i did mine. i got the protray from jr at pitstop marine. nothing complicated about it, just measure then remeasure, then secure the template with 2 screws( i just screwed the template down to the deck since I was cutting it out anyway), mark it off with a sharpie and then cut the carpet or leave the template on the deck and use a razor knife to cut the carpet out, once the carpet is gone drill you a pilot hole and break out the jigsaw and go to town. remember to run a bead of silicone around the edges before you mount the tray down.

I recently installed the Protray in my 202. It's not very difficult at all, only took about an hour and a half...Well worth the effort and the cost. I also purchased mine from Pitstop...Good luck.

Sounds like pro tray is the choice to me . Possibly goint to go ahead and get the seat redone . Just as well fix it up, cheaper then a new one .

    Ray,
I installed one bought on Ebay, made by a metal fabricator, the cost was only $36. unpainted. The first one only had 3" of depth, didn't work well for the minakotta but would work for the motoglide. I orderd a second well, this time with a 5" depth, powder coated and drilled the necessary holes and installed it. Looks great and works like a dream. If interested I can send you the email address of the seller. $36. is a great deal!

I would really like to have that seller's info. I've been trying to figure which tray is smallest overall. Maybe this guy has what I need.

Do you still have the 3" one that didn't work for you?

Re: Recessed TM pedal ??? (Fishaholic)

    Hello Chip,
Yes to both, the recessed well has been painted to match my Blazer, metal flake/blazer blue, this paint job is not powder coat and will easily remove with paint remover. I will email the seller for permission to put his info on this BBC. Or will email you the info necessary to reach the seller.

    Regards,
