1995 200hp Evinrude Vindicator

Hey all I have a 95 200hp Evinrude Vindicator. Any particulars I should know about this engine? Seems to run good but does like fuel. Any opinions are welcome. Great site.

carb motor, 1995 model, likes fuel not an efi or a dfi. as for running it is a strong motor same as a johnson venom( I have one) just have your mechanic check to make sure it is jetted properly. there are posts all over the board on that and yours may be new enough not to worry about it. good luck

That is a good motor and as posted have a trained tech check it out, you may also want to add the carb bowl drain plugs from a 1998 225, these have tits on them so the main jets wont back out.
