    Rusty

I had posted earlier about a miss at 1500-2000rpms on a new powerhead,200HO etec, I had the latest update installed 3030343_90794HO with no improvement. My tech talked to a rep and now they are installing another program that addresses the "miss" at transition ranges. What is this? I have also noticed a little bit of a miss at idle and wonder if this update will help that as well. E200HSLSD 05116982 One more Question the other day I was cruising at 4500 rpm and got a NO OIL horn and light, I pulled it back to neutral and shut the motor off, checked the oil and reservoir was full. Cranked up and no alarm the rest of the day???

My first question is ..why do you run the motor at this RPM?

I dont try to run the motor at those rpms but I do go through those ranges. Sometimes fast other times slow. It is impossible not to notice the miss. It is also there at idle at times. Thanks for any response

3030343 94040HO 10/2/2006 586707 200HO / 90° SOC,SOG,SDF,SDR,SDS,SUA,SUC,SUG This software improves oil pulse detection, adds tps out of idle range fault (code 11), and fixes an issue causing a random high speed misfire.

    This is the latest map.

    Hope This Helps

I must be missing the page in my owners manual which prohibits operation at that RPM.

Although not bass boat related...... saltwater fisherman will typicallly use this rpm range for hours on end when trolling for dolphin/wahoo/kings and other pelagic fish. I run a e-tec saltwater series 225 and use this rpm range quite extensively for those species listed.

It was a simple question guys, I didn't say not to run it at that RPM.

I thought it was a fine question. At any rate the program has been installed and I hope to try it out in a day or two, I will post results and thanks again

    Joe,
You know where I am on this deal and can't say nothing. Except I talked to Brian 2 weeks ago and he put the new map on, and said it ran 62 WOT. He isn't very talkitave so I got out of him was about that. I wish you luck.

Was this good or bad? On our lead sleds it would be good.

Championman are you refering to MPH or RPM? Either way my boat will only do 52 MPH at 5800 RPM on a good day.

    Re: Rusty (AquaMarineNJ)

I took the boat out sat. A.M. with the updated map installed and the problem is still there. It may be better but that may be wishful thinking. I am just going to take it like it is and go fish. I can live with it. The only thing is the skip at idle, wish that could be fixed. Hope BRP will come up with something latter on. Thanks for the suggestions that you guys gave.
