HDS-8

I am about to install a couple of HDS-8's and wanted to see what different people have done mounting them at the console and bow. I have seen some pretty neat pics where someone built their own adapter plate to mount it in the dash. Just wanted to see some other options if anyone has any pics. Also looking for some ideas at the bow to keep it out of the way as much as possible.

Hoped this helped!!!! BTW it is a 2010 PUMA FTD with the old style dash and the old boat is a 2008 PUMA FTD.

Thanks, that looks nice. How much modification was involved for the bracket and where did you get it? Did you prefer it on the RAM mount or on the bracket.

I have a machinist here that made it. No modification at all to the boat. It's just a plate that covered the old hole with a lip on it for the unit to sit on. I prefer it without the RAM mount.
