    speed

    what kinda speed can be expected on a xb21pro bass with a 225 power plant.etec ho to be exact.

    60-65 would be no problem.
    Sorry I couldn't resist.
    The Ficht, I mean E-Tech, would have to have extensive lower unit housing work and solid mounts to be safe and efficient, but I would think in stock form 80 could be achieved pretty easy.

    ok thanks would expect more than that with the lightning lower?and i will own nothin but rudes especially since the etecs are here.would u say low 80's(83-84)poss.without blow out being a concern?

    I think I read that they have had nothing but, problems with the lighting lower unit. I think the BRP has a fine powerhead but, as already stated you are gonna have a problem finding a lower that will stay together.

    Hve you talked to Bowers marine in Russellville AR? I think all they do is Evinrudes.

    ive got one now one a 21x triton and run it high have had zero problems since 05.
