    250 Pro XS - 20hr Service

    I currently have 17hrs on my new 250 pro xs (2B016384) that was installed last fall. It was winterized with 15hrs on it by a Merc dealer. Do I still need to do the 20hr service? What gets done during a 20hr service? Thanks.

    Items should be listed in your owner's manual. Ask your dealer what he did.

    20 hour service is primarily an INSPECTION service (UNLESS the engine has been in service for greater than 364 days).

    It involves INSPECTION of all Annual Maintenance items (replacement of items if necessary only), and MANDATORY replacement of the gear lube.
