Here is a link of Neal's (Gotmyally) over on the Allison owners board. He installed his on his XB21 ProSport.

Here is where I installed my HDS7 on my XB21 2+2, in the driver side rod tray.
Also here is a post on the mounting of the structure scan transducer mounted on the skid planer

I do believe that Allison built a mounting bracket to install the Humminbird SI ducer on the skid planer as well. You may want to call them if that is a choice for you.
BTW, beautiful boat and colors.

Nice!! Thanks for the post! Not so sure I want to drill into the planer. And will it affect performance?
Don't feel bad. A lot of boats are slow.

Perry, I'm hoping and assuming that Allison tested the location for the ducer on the skid planer. Only one hole is needed to drill and that is near the front. I'll know shortly, hopefully, as soon as I can get the boat out of hibernation.

I personally don't care for the skid planer mounting location, mine is on the jackplate on a customized transducer shield and saver mount. Works well and isn't underneath the boat, just my personal preference.
I don't mind where it goes, as long as I can get a good reading and it doesn't affect handling performance.
