Allison XR hull making a run

boys, I know this ain't no bass hull but dadgum the boat in the vid is hauling booty and it just sits there nice and solid! (copied from another site). I believe they said they were doing 107 to 108. The debris you see in the water is a water plant of some kind.

Re: Allison XR hull making a run (Duane Harper)

Can't view Utube from work - blocked,,,,

A well setup XR-01 is a very well handling ride. People would simply be amazed at the ride, the cat like maneuverability and nimbleness of this hulls design. If you think a XB-03, XR-02, XB-02, SS etc., have a nice ride and handle well,,,,, have someone give you a ride in the backseat of a nicely setup XR-2001...
Out in New Mexico while racing my XR, I'd give rides after Qualifying and go playing after the races where over. We had a cove roped off in a big lake out there. In the afternoons, the rope came down and the cove was open to public, we could head out into the lake. I have a lite drag hull with the back seat. I'd pull the long cowel off , put on some soft heads, pop the rear seat in and go play. People were amazed at the speed that hull can take a corner with zero hint of loosing grip, and accelerating out of a tight turn.....at correct trim angle heading into a tight turn, the ole nose will drop, dig in, an in a controled manner throw you into that turn like a F1 roundy round hull,,,,( OK, not quite as fast and as hard as a F1, but in the back seat it's the next best thing ).....Dang,,, Now I wanna go out and Play..

IIRC the camera boat was a 22' Talon tunnel?
