99 Ficht 200 won't drop down - any ideas

All batteries are full, starts no problem but motor won't drop. Its ALL the way up. Factory motor travel bars are up so motor is not against the motor holder and I use a transom saver. Doesn't make any noise to drop. Any ideas?

Does the manual release work? Do you hear the relays clicking? What color is the oil in the unit, does it smell rancid and burnt?

I don't know where a manual release is, I can hear the relay. Not sure which oil you are referring to but nothing smells.
