    Oil Colors?

Does BRP have specific colors for each of their outboard oils? And if they do, would the colors be the same for oil in containers as well as bulk?

Yes but the new XD100 is lighter in color now.

The XD30 is Red, XD50 Blue, and XD100 a very light yellow/brown/clear color. The color will be the same if it came out of BRP's prepackaged or out of a bulk drum.

    Thanks,

I thought I had an older gallon of XD-100, and now I'm sure I do. The older XD-100 IS a little darker. And I take it my blue Ficht Ram oil is XD-50?

If you have a old gallon of Xd100 it may not have a low pour point and you may get false no oil lights with it. Make sure you use it before the cold weather comes. The Ram oil is XD50.
