I am seriously thinking of trading in Skeeter for XB21.
What kind of numbers can I expect with a 250 ProXS or a 300 Proxs?

Ronnie, youre more than welcome to drive mine. Fully loaded during a Region tournament on the Potomac with a partner (Mike Allen) and 30 pounds of fish in the livewell, 92 on gps.
Ive never ran my boat sans trolling motor, batteries, seats, etc and the Merc is stock under the cowling. I fish tournaments and thats how my boat stays loaded</TD></TR></TABLE>
Rob has a XB21 2 seater with a 250 pro XS. I have heard the Stroker guys claim there running over 100 with a 250 but, i aint so sure I believe it. No loaded to fish anyway.
90 is no problem in the 21 with the 250.
I have a BasSport Pro with 250 XS and I haven't hit 90 yet. Loaded to fish with 3/4 tank of gas and two fat guys mine is an 85-86 mph boat in summer heat. I expect I will be able to stretch that to 90 in the winter with a light load but 90 everyday is a stretch. Rob Shaw has the same combo as me and he can do 90 loaded. I believe his boat and mine are identical except fior the prop but my boat runs the same speed with every prop. You will love the boat though. Absolutely the best I have ever been in.
Ive also had some gear case work done by Robbie Patterson. Best boat Ive ever owned and Ive owned a few...

Well I went and spec'd one out the way i like them. Very nice! Now I am just waiting to pull the trigger. I am having a hard time deciding. Kind of like jumping out of a perfectly good airplane, you know? The bad boy I spec'd was with a 300XS moving lights upgrade and the whole nine yards. Very Very nice boat. looking at pad area you can see what sets them apart! I fish Amistad and it can get very rough at times. Guys what I am asking is. Do they really handle rough water as good as people say they do?
BMF, before this BasSport Pro, I had a Champ 210 ELite. Before that, I had a Basscat Puma. The list goes on and on. The BasSport Pro is as smooth or smoother than the Champ which up to that point was the best rough water boat Ive ever owned.
I too have the adjustable headlights...man they come in handy at times!!

But my motto is "you can't take it with you!" might as well spend it and have a blast! Now i guess I'll wait on my brother to get his financing in order for my Skeeter! Everyone has skeeters around here and I also wanted something different! Not the same boat as everyone else just a different color! Thanks for the input guys I will update with pics!![]()
BMF,
If you don't mind me askin', what was the $ tag on that bad boy? If they separated the price for you, what was the $ tag of everything minus the engine? I want one pretty bad too. Are you ordering, or buying on in stock? If ordering, what is the build time? Thanks!

Well it was not broke down that way for me but they wanted 62,500 for a black and gold one with a 225XS in the showroom. I was looking to order a red one with the 300XS. The only thing I wanted extra than the one in the showrrom was GPS for the bow display. 66,700 was my quote add another 800 bucks for the lights upgrade. 6-8 weeks was the build time or torture time.![]()
Guys, check out what Todd Morgan has in stock...Candomarine.com
2022 Basscat Jaquar
Mercury 300 Pro Xs
BMF, that price is too high. As Blue Steel (my fishing partner) said above, check out C&O. He and I both have traveled out to Tenn (more than once) to buy our boats from Todd.
If you are interested in buying a used Blue/white BasSport Pro with a 250XS I might be able to save you some money. Its a 2008 and it has been flawless. It has 787c2's at both ends. I am ready to get out of the tournament fishing circles for a while and focus on family.
I called them and spec'd it out the same as the place in Texas and I am completely shocked at the price differance!![]()
I am looking to save about 7g's! Posting here with you guys was the best idea I have had all year!![]()
Funny thing is that the other dealer called me 5 minutes after I hung up the phone and wanted to start paperwork. I told him "slow down clown!" Asked if he could match price and he said it probably wasnt the same boat, engine, and upgrades. Anyways he didn't even try!
I've never been east of Miss river, Roadtrip baby! when the boat is ready! Any good lakes or fellow BBC'ers along I-20 interested in guiding in a new Allison?
