    Where is YOUR GPS puck?

I put mine in the rear, behind the battery/gas tank lid, in one of the nice little flat spots that flank the splash well. Awesome spot. Too bad it took me a few hours and about a hundred laps around the boat to get up enough courage to start drilling that first hole. Once I took the plunge, it was not bad at all.

On the ProSports I epoxy them to the bottom side of the drivers console, no holes drilled. Even the Lowrance units work like this with no problem even though the instructions say otherwise.

Well, if I need another one some time, I will do just that. I was not sure so I went with top mount. However, when sitting under my carport, I was getting signal. So, my first inclination is to say I made a good choice.
