    ally ride

I have a2002 and I will say that the ride is amazing untill you are forced to slow down to a crawl. After it gets bad, really bad,I had rather be in a Champion or big Triton. Most of the time it is that rough,I will just stay out of it.But, there are a few times you get trapped.Dont get me wrong, untill it gets really rough most of the time an Ally boat will be leading the way!I am yet to find a boat that I am totally happy with.Seems you have to sacrifice this for that. What about a 2002 vs. a193or196 Champ? any opinions? Whats up ronnie. Im the guy in the blue and white 2003 at the friday nighters. I agree on the ride. The 02 and 03 will be a smoother ride until you start spearing waves, then you could probably keep going in a longer bigger boat but you will be getting beat too death in any bass boat when it gets that bad. You will notice a huge difference in holeshot, acceleration, top end, and hull efficiency (gas mileage). On the other hand the champ will have more room and will be more stable(more of a fishin boat). There has only been one time I couldn't lead the way back to weigh in on pickwick and it was really bad (speared 8 waves in a row lol). You gotta ask yourself what you want out of a boat? Speed and performance or a good fishin boat. Later

Or you could step up to an XB-21 BasSport Pro & have it all.

Ronnie, I had an XB2003 and now I have what many believe to be one of the best rough water boats made...but damn I miss the Allison!

As Lee mentioned, the Bassport is the ticket!!
