Mozzarella en corrozza is like an egg batter dipped and fried mozzarella sandwich,,, I sauté red pepper and garlic and onion all diced small and dice up prociutto and dice up pancetta and sauté them with the peppers n onions in olive oil,,, when done mix into fresh made bread crumbs with some grated Parmesan cheese,,, then steam some pei mussels in butter and a cup of white wine ,,, as soon as they open remove them from pot and pour all the juices left in pot over the bread crumb mixture , then pack a generous amount of stuffing on top of each open mussel and arrange all on a sheet pan , bake at 350 for 10min,,,, not practicing catholic just saw some nice stuff at market and ate meat every night this week til now lol
