    Trailer tire question

I had regular tires (Goodyear Integrity p185/75/R14) on my boat trailer but opted for a set of trailer tires (ST215/75/R14) . Problem is, the trailer tires are slightly bigger and only give about an inch and a half clearance between tire and fender lip and are wider and stick out slightly past the fender. Should I be ok with this?

note: I put 250lbs(me) on the fender and jumped up and down and couldnt press the fender against the tire so the springs are still good on the trailer.

Tires not really my strong point

    Re: Trailer tire question (Rondojigs)

Shpuld be fine may get some rubbing on big bumps. 205/75/14 would have been a much better fit.
