how does the speedometer work ? I have a johnson fast strike 150 hp. where is the hole for telling how fast your going? if that is ok when what else could be the problem PLease help !!!

Pretty easy fix so I'll let Sherwin Williams handle this one.
Well nothing from our new resident artiste' so if you look at the front of your lower unit up above the cavitation plate you'll see a tube with a hose or a cap on it. The hose has a barb on it and goes up the front side of the mid section. remove the tube and remove the tube from the back of the speedo. Blow some air through it and see if you have a clear path of air. Chances are good you have some schmegma in the line. If that is OK feel down about 3" on the leading edge of the CG and you'll find an opening use a small drill bit and by hand run it and out of the hole, that should clear it up.

We just started slowing down a week or so ago & it started raining around here so I started reading the posts again. I use to read them a while ago but never post my 2 cents because I had no time. I kind of got adicted because of SeaHorse. Don't worry I'm seeing a doctor now. Hopfully the winterizations start soon.
