    XD100 Carbed J90

    I found a local supply of bulk XD100 at $ 29. a gallon.

I have decided to run XD100 in my Johnson carbed J90. This motor has less than 100 hrs and had been running well. I just want to keep it that way.
I would like some clarification on the following:

    1. Would it be prudent to use Carbon Guard as well.

    2. Is an annual decard required when XD100 is used without Carbon Guard?

    3. Is an annual decarb required when XD100 is used with Carbon Guard?

I don't put enough hours on it to be concerned about operating expense.

I will do whatever is necessary to keep it as reliable as possible and keep it in excellent health so I don't lose valued time on the water when I get the opportunity.

    Thanks in advance.

Should have an ETEC 90 in January.

If you can't run with the big dogs, just stay on the porch.

    Thanks for the reply.

This is what I was hoping to be the case.

I would be pleased to have you for several days. Headed to Matlacha Pass on Wednesday AM to fish the incoming. Looking for big reds.

Seriously, drop me a note if you are headed this way. I expect the Snook bite to be redhot around the 1st week of October. I am going to be in PG that entire week. We fish Captiva Pass and Pine Island Sound around Cabbage Key extensively. Largest Snook this year to date. 12#.

Had breakfast at the smokehouse on Friday AM. Sausage gravy and Home Fries, 3 over medium. NO calories in that. lol.

BTW, I am very pleased I found this forum. You guys provide a excellent service to the public at your personal expense.

My hats of to you all.

Uh-uh, naw sir, it ain't gonna happen. De Champ has got to come to Maryland first and go crabbing with me and Peetie first. Then you can take him fishing for Snooks.
