[I]TEAM CORGI DOG[I]
1996 javelin 400T /1996 Johnson 200 Venom
Yes it was close to 125 hours of rigging from the very start to finish. Started in Jan. and just wrapped up 2 weeks ago. It was a very slow process. Boat was powered with twin 135hp MerCruisers. Boat had cruzing speed of 21 kts and top speed of 28 kts. WIth the Twin 200HO's cruise is 31 kts with a top speed of 43kts. We still do not have it propped the way we want it yet. With the19' 4 blade cyclone's we can still hit 6100 RPM even with the 1/2 tower up. The customer as of now has to get use to the boat. He is scared of the power it has. We are waiting for the top on the half tower to come off. He is still figuring out his fuel burn. He did make 1 trip offshore. With his old engines he had to switch to his backup tank to get back the the dock. Not so with these. He was amazed. He is very happy with the repower and I know he will have years of trouble free fishing.
Also, how much money will the customer save annually by not having to winterize both stern drive engines and not having to remove 2 outdrives for u-joint lubrication and motor alignment?
Have you tried 19" and 21" Rebel props on it?

We tried the 19" Rebels and did not like the way they felt. Since the boat was delivered we received in a set of 21" Rebels and Cyclones. We are going to try and get over to the boat next week to try them.
WOW! You need the customer to come on here with a testamonial.
Do you think you can "fix" my '94 Venom ?
I can only imagine the extra room on that rig now!!
The customer is having a large fishwell made for where the old sterndives were. Thats next winters project installing that.
