    Normans' DD22 Cranks'

    Does any one use the Normans's DD22 cranks' brand ....want to try a few this year hadnt crank deep in years .....plan on getting some. And was wondering how they do ?

    I'd say just about everybody on here does. I know I have a bunch. They work good as any deep crank. Don't expect 22' deep though.

    They're very popular on Eufaula along with Mann's 20+s.

    20+ maybe on 4 lb test....try the luhr jenson hot lips deep cranks. I have better luck on these with the exception of the kvd special series 6xd strike kings cranks. My range is usually for deep cranking though around 18 feet. Anything deeper and i nay as well forget it. Did see a crank made last year that had a weight on the end of the bill that made it sink to the bottom, then dig back t the boat. Cool idea...

    Strike King 6xd is much easier on your forearms and dives as deep or deeper.

    for the record the 22 in dd22 does not claim to mean 22 ft of depth. they have stated on the box it will dive aroung 17 ft.

    DD22's are the only deep divers I throw. For the price tag they can not be beat. I am going to throw some DT20's metal this year though. Look like real fish catchers.

    I sold all my deep crank reels this month ..beside one where does you get your baits from and the new one thats you talking about . They where just ride in the rod box getting boat rash .
