First Trip of the Year

Needless to say our fishing here isnt the greatest but its what we have so we go with it. Put in today at 10:30 and fished till 3:30. Water started at 50-51 and topped out at 55. Caught one hybrid, and three keeper largemouth, and lost a keeper. Here are a few pictures of the fish i caught on my homemade basswood cranks. Still learning the painting part but these few didnt mind. Caught on the Ohio River.

Pretty good for a first of the year trip..It's always cool to catch fish on a bait you made yourself
