GT 150 question. Fuel restriction alarm?

How's it going guy's. I hope everyone is catching fish, can't wait until spring.

On to my question. I've got and 89 Gt 150 and I've disconnected the vro and have been mixing myself. I've also disconnected the oil alarm. However, I've got a hotfoot and when I get off of the hotfoot and let it idle or run on it's own, I get another alarm. At first I thought it was overheating or something, but seeing's how it's been doing it for awhile and I've let it run with the alarm for awhile and it never blew , I'm assuming it's the fuel restriction alarm. It really only get's on my nerve's, I usually just shut it off for a minute or two and it reset's itself and I go on my way. Could it be that my fuelpump side of the vro is going out or something else? Can I just disconnect the alarm or would that not be good.

Try changing your primer bulb. Sometimes the check valve pieces come loose inside and partially plug the line. This just happened to me 2 weeks ago.

You need to check the boat fuel system for restrictions and see at what vacuum the sensor switches on.
