Looking for Fluorocarbon in bulk spools

I am looking for Berkley 100% Fluorocarbon in the 2000yd spools in both clear and green tint. I see that BPS has the clear in bulk but not in green. Are there any board sponsors or others that carry both? Thanks.

Just a simply question- why would a person use flourocarbon in a tint/color? Isn't the fact that it is nearly invisible under water one of the assets of flouro? I could see the advantage of flouro being more visible to the eye above water for line watching/strike detection, as long as it doesn't take away the "nearly invisible" asset, but green wouldn't help in that regard. I've used high Stren vis gold with a flouro leader for line watching/worm fishing, and it has worked well, as long as the joining knots are good.

Here's another simple question...Why would anyone use fluorocarbon in the first place?

The Tackle Trap can order most any Berkley line you want. Our suppliers have some bulk spools in stock, but not everything. Feel free to shoot me an IM with what you're looking for and we'll see if we can track it down for you

The waters I fish go from gin clear to down right muddy. Fluoro has other properties other then being nearly invisible that makes it a asset to use. In those dark waters I fish I can pick up line movement a lot better if the line has some color to it.

Re: Looking for Fluorocarbon in bulk spools (billius)

I thought the same way Billius when Fluoro first came out or I tried some that was crap. But good Fluoro is worth useing. The only thing I don't use it for is topwater and on my panfish reels. I use mono for those.
