? for jeepers
Anyone running 35"-37" tires on a cj? What kind of lift are you using?

I think you're going to need to go SOA to put 37s on a CJ.

I ran 35's with a 4 inch spring under kit on a cj 8 scrambler.

And crossover steering. Box in the frame or you're going to break it in half at the spring perches.
Unless you already own a CJ, build a Wrangled
Don't by a lift kit for a CJ, use springs from a Wagoneer front all the way around with the SOA

I have a CJ5 with 35" Pro Comp X-terains, It has a 4" spring under axle lift with a shackle kit and clears the 35's fine.

Re: ? for jeepers (Josh*)
I had a cj-7 back in the 90's and did a soa and ran 33's. A friend of mine had a soa on his jeep and ran 35's. The jeep I have now is a 1978 cj-7, it has a 2.5" rancho sua lift, 1/2" shackle lift and 33's. Also has a 401, t-18, dana 300, dana 30 front and a scout dana 44 rear with a detroit locker. Ive got the matching front end just havent put it in yet. Ive always wanted 35's but 36 and 37's sure do look better. Thought about doing a 2" body lift and trimming the wheel wells but I dont think that will be enough for more than 35's.
