    XM Radio

I'm am new to XM radio as I just got it in my truck. I have all my country and comedy stations down pat already I was just curious if there was any outdoor fishing/hunting programming I should be looking for out there? If not a channel are there any outdoor shows on certain XM stations?

    Thanks

I have Sirius and am not aware of any such programming. It's hard enough to watch people fish - listening to it on the radio would be ridiculous

I don't want to be a spoiler, but be careful when renewal time comes around.

I grew up listening to WBAP out of the DFW area in N. Texas. It was not to bad at all. I really miss it actually.
Around here, there is an outdoor (mostly fishing) channel that is fairly good, and informative.

I've had XM about as long as it has been out. Every once in a while I have stumbled onto an Outdoor Sportsman themed show but they always seemed to be a show being rebroadcast from another area, like a local show in Texas or something. Nothing consistent or regular though. Right now they have a show called The Interstate Sportsman on XM106 (Road Dog Trucking channel) that airs Thursday's @ 0630 and Saturday's @ 0730. There may be more, but that's the only one I have found. Of course they have ESPN so I have heard Mike & Mike do the Classic a couple of times but that is hardly regular outdoor programming.

I have xm in both my vehicles and youre right about the renewal. I have a way to get it cheaper. Every time it goes up I get a promotional discount, I wont go into details but all youhave to do is call them and very nicely and calmly tell them u just dont use it enough to justify the price and tell them you want to cancel they will then send to someone else etc bam there you go we get six moths for the price of 3. We never let them autodraft if it gives them too much control.
A friend of mine gets Playboy on his sirus but i dont get it. arent they the same co. now? Its not fishing stuff but it sure does sound nice.

Well there were some podcasts I use to listen to where they would sit down with pros and talk with them about baits or what they were modifying. I think when I was last listening to it was right when the BBZ-1 swim baits were coming out from spro and they were talking to John Crews about prototypes and stuff.
