    Shipping help PLEASE

    What is the best way to ship a rod.I have got to ship a 6"10' from KY to Mississippi about what is the best way to ship the rod?ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! THANKS Skirb

    pvc, any carrier will take that for a small fortune. Around 25 bucks, insured for proper amount would be my guess. Good luck, shippin rods is a pain in the arse

    I just shipped 2 rods from OK to NC for 20.05 with $150 insurance. It was 7'6" Sch 40 3"PVC.

    don't go card board if you can. PVC is the only was to truely protect your rods while shipping. And even then it can still get broken, don't ask me how i know

    Joey, I'm a UPS driver. First and most important is, ALWAYS USE A PVC TUBE!!!!! It's going to cost no matter who you use, pass that along to who ever is buying. AND INSURE it. So if it gets lost or label gets damaged or falls off, you can get your money back. Follow this two rules and your butt is covered.

    I used to ship my fishing rods via fedex express saver or fedex ground and always used a pvc pipe to ship it.
