    Davy Jones Dead

    Just saw where Davy Jones of the singing group The Monkees has died at the age of 66 as a result of a heart attack.

    That's too bad. I remember listening to the Monkees while on the beach in Florida during spring break in Florida during the late 60's. Those were some crazy fun times for certain.

    About 4 years ago while I was at the horse track in Anderson indiana Davey Jones was ther putting on a concert. Took me back to when I was a kid.SAD

    I listened to and seen them on tv as well. I've got a stack of albums from the 60's starting with the Beatles first two albums. Dave Clarks greatest hits was the first album I bought. Got probably 50 or so 45 records from back then too. Now a days you can find them all on you-tube in a few seconds.
