Congradulations,, I used to do a little Waterfowl Guiding. Met some life long friends that we still hunt and fish with. Also had some who were too cold too hung over too far away from Mama. You'll get both! Good luck to you with it and do the bookwork to take advantage of the business tax breaks!!!!

Nope, haven't gotten to that phase yet. I only need the Coast Guard training if I guide on Champlain and Erie. I will eventually grab that so I can take clients out on Champlain. NYS Parks and Recs deals with the other training for motor boats. I will begin that within the next week. This is the last part of the equation to guide on all other waterways here in NY.

Also be careful about guiding and warranty issues with your boat.. Thought I read somewhere on here where if you guide you only have 1 yr on motor..
