Cats pull out a close one in that a-- backwards court. Davis player of the year I think.

Worst venue in college basketball. Just glad UK got out of there with a W. I really hate Vandy.

Also, props to Coach Martin and the Vols today, knocking off the Gators for a second time. I told some UT fans the other day, in a few years y'all will be saying "Bruce who?". All but locked up a SEC Regular Season Champ for the Cats.

Way to go CATS! I was impressed by Coach Grant of Alabama today too. Top 3 players on your team violate team rules and they dont play. I have a lot of respect for that decision.

Davis is good but when he starts averaging 18 and 12 as Thomas Robinson does from KU then he can have a chance. ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK

If I remember correctly, they've already played against each other this year. And MR. Davis came out ahead.

Yes UK beat KU at the beginning of the year...KU is not the same team they were then. Doesnt really matter...Robinson is still having a better year than Davis...check the stats. You seem to always have them if they favor UK. I will take TRob over uni-brow any day!!

    Re: UK (woo)

Davis is the defensive player of the year no doubt but naismith POY..i dont think so..
My vote is thomas robinson for kansas.. Hes the best all around player that can dominate on both ends offense and def..

    Re: UK (Jmontgomery)

    I have them. Davis averages 14 pts, 10 rebs, 5 blocks, 1 assist, 1.5 steals, 66% FG

    Robinson averages 17.8 pts, 12 reb, .8 blocks, 1.6 assist, .5 steals, 54.8% FG

Robinson is a fine player, but is not the runaway winner you think he is. You have to remember, Davis is playing on a team with 6 players averaging more than 9.5 ppg. UK is a much more balanced scoring offense, and Davis will not get as many shots as Robinson.

In their head to head game:
    Davis: 14 pts, 6 reb, 7 blocks, 0 assist, 2 steals, 75% FG
    Robinson: 11 pts, 12 reb, 1 block, 1 assist, 0 steals, 41.6% FG
UK got the win on a neutral court by 10.

Again, I don't think there is a clear-cut favorite between the 2. It will come down to who is the most dominant down the stretch. I think you couldn't go wrong voting for either one.

    Re: UK (DanCard)

If it was purely about scoring points and rebound, Arnett Moultrie at Miss St. and Doug McDermott at Creighton have as good of #'s as Robinson.
