Make sure sellers name is on the title. Stay away from no title available or no registration deals. I got burnt on a Skeeter last year because there where taxes owed on it and it was not the sellers name on the title but his deceased grandpaw. (same as his). He refused to pay back taxes and I never got it registered. Just check out all paperwork very carefully. Good luck.

Not all states have issue titles for boats. Tn being one Of them

We do not have titles in Mississippi either. I am getting ready to sell my boat and want to make sure I have everything in order. All I have are the origin papers and registration card. I have sold a number of boats and never have had a problem. It is easy to buy a boat in Mississippi.
