    St. Louis 1977

I just found some old pictures (incriminating) of Supper Jam "77" at Busch Stadium in St Louis of the all weekend rock concert in 1977. Ted Nugent, REO Speedwagon, HeadEast, Judas Priest and Gypsy and many others played there. Any of you old farts happen to attend that? We stood on the pitchers mound with a five gallon cooler with Wild Turkey and Coke in it. Don't remember much after the first hour. But driving back to Indiana was an eventful challenge. I was just wondering if anyone else was there.

I remember standing in the outfield at Atlanta Stadium watching 38 Special, Johnny & Edgar Winter, Bob Seger, Blue Oyster Cult, and KISS with over 77,000 other people.

Hell all of you guys are to young. On 9/17/1964 I attended the Beatle's concert at Municipal Stadium in Kansas City when I was junior in high school. Larry Brumley

I wasn't at that particular one, but went to my fair share of those all day jams back in the 70's and 80's....You name 'em, I probably saw 'em

    Re: (Papaw)

Wow you're kidding, I was there! I'd like to see your pics.
I remember because it was general admission seating we went down the night before and camped out in front of the gates with a couple of hundred other people. What a party that was! Then we spent the whole next day in the concert and it was hotter than hell. Took a couple of days to get over that show.
I also went to the one in '76 where Fleetwood Mac and Jefferson Starship headlined. Those were the days huh?

Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

    Re: (JDH_STL)

Yep July 9th. 1977! 95 degrees and steamy. Only time I got high on pot by proxy. There was a cloud of smoke hanging over the field all day long. Couldn't help but to inhale! I remember some dude climbing the cable's to the backstop all the way to the top. The sound stage was right behind us and it was up in the air so there was a 5 foot space under it that was just right for a little banging You would be surprised what we could trade a cup of Wild Turkey and Coke for. It was one of the best concerts I have ever been to and I have been to alot of them.
