Dobyns Champion 805RM...Will not wear you out, can fling baits a mile being a long rod, and the butt sections is long enough to tuck under the arm again to not wear you out all day..great deep crank stick as Ive spent many a weeks on KY lake in the summer chucking big cranks..

Shoot, I hope it don't bite then. Does it just wriggle around a bit?

Re: Best Deep cranking rod (UBF1)

I’m waiting to get my hands on the new 7'6" Kistler Helium Graphite/Glass Composite. I have the old Graphite Plus and Magnesium composite rods and will not let them go so I feel this one is going to be tops!!

I need a good deep cranking rod. I had a Skelton Castaway launcher and somebody needed it more than I did.

Re: Best Deep cranking rod (haftafish22)

    I've got a CBR906, CBR896 DF, CBR847, and a Phenix 7'9" XG-3 glass rod. I love all 4, but the XG-3 is by far my favorite.
