    Arsonists

There has been several random fires set a few miles North of here, at least 12 in the past 3 or so weeks. Last night a family owned and operated feed store was burned to the ground, been in business 32+ years. A few nights ago a large lumber company was hit for the second time (first time damage was over $800,000). A couple barns, some empty homes and a mobile home, hay rolls have been burned. One smaller lumber yard was totally destroyed just after Christmas. We all suspect some volunteer firefighters, but so far no one has been arrested......Luckily no lives have been lost yet.....

They need to be handcuffed to a fence post and the field set afire, with the handcuff key just out of reach.

Don't be too hasty to blame the FD. One of the burns could easily have been the target (for the insurance) and the rest were all just cover-up. Had that happen in our fire district a few years back.

We had a fire bug around here too. The POS burned my Grandparents old house down. As well as other old houses and barns. The law finally caught up with him. After he was caught and on bail he figured his time had run out. Needless to say he is no longer with us. Guess he could not face the thought of prison. It will probably suprise you who it is. More than likely someone you know and close to the community.

    Re: Arsonists (BeeNix)

Herb, my granddaughter said something else burned lastnight. Think it was a home this time. All these places that have been burned are within 5 miles of my house easily. There are so many gossip tales going on around here it's pathetic sine the Ruckels Hardware store burnt Thursday night. Nothing like going into a country store & hearing this bullsh*t. Some of these folks need to get a life other than sitting around & drinking coffee & telling bullsh*t!!! I absolutley let them know they're full of sh*t when they do this. Wonder why they don't have much use for me ??? Pisses me off to nop end. Hope they catch the scumbag doing this & he get's the chair or life without parole. I know if a couple different individuals catch them it will be far worse than that. Sorry for the rant, but these gossiping *ssholes really piss me off.

Herb, it was the new ( probably less than 5 years old.) hardware store & not the feed & grocery store that burned Thursday night. Such a shame as Jeff was in the stages of expanding the hardware store too.

You know how every town has "that" family ? The one where I grew up had a son who burned down the local lumberyard. That was his grand finale, he had been setting fires for years. The whole family was flat out weird, a lot of mental issues. Pretty sad actually.
