EVINRUDE VRO OIL HOSE CHANGE

I am going to replace the oil line that goes to the VRO also the fuel line. Do I need to do any thing special after I replace the oil line , bleed ect if so how do you bleed. All my plastic clamps have broken so Iam going to replace all hoses and clamps.

If you are replacing it from the bulb to the engine, prime the hose till oil come out at the motor end, clamp it, then gently sqeeze it one more time to get it to the pump. If you get the no oil alarm after replacement, turn the engine off, gently sqeeze the bulb to push past the air bubble. Restart and retry. I recommend using a pre mix after doing any oil hose, oil primer, or oil pump replacement just in case. Basically anything that has to do with the oil system.

Yup, looks like 1pt to 6 gallons since it's 16oz in a pint and it takes 12.8oz of oil to 5 gallons of gas to get 50:1.

Kudo's to Rudey, one other thing is to mark the oil tank with a marker to make sure it is pumping.
