Blackberry playbook

Anyone using one ?

I ordered one for myself and my iphone loving wife loved it and clamed it, so I ordered another one for myself and find it amazing. Combo with my Blackberry phone it`s a great tool.

Got one before Christmas.

Not being a blackberry phone fan, I was pleasantly surprised. I use it mainly for surfing the net when I am not next to my Mac's.

It still needs a proper calender email client. Does not link to outlook, email is gmail, yahoo, hotmail and blackberry based.

They were constantly sold out locally (Ottawa Ontario) when they dropped the price.

I think that we will see more apps for the playbook and more support given that sales bump.

I had one when they came out, returned it after almost 2 wks. I thought I could access the internet via the BB bridge thru my BB phone while away from home such as on the boat. It can only be done via tethering. The streaming video buffer was disappointing also. The screen locks way too often and you have to "swipe" just right to unlock it, kinda of a PITA. The need for speed game bundled with the tablet is VERY addictive.

Hopefully you didn't pay an arm and a leg for it. They have it on bens outlet for reasonable.

Best Buy before CHRISTmas $199. Got the last one in the store that night.
