lake eufala alabama info needed

Me and some guys are going down there in march. We heard something about a huge fish kill and that the fishing is awful. Should we find another lake to go to or is it ok to head on down? thx

The fishing last time I was there for the FLW everstart event was pretty decent but it was tough at the same time.....Not a stitch of grass no where. If you willing to drive a little further look into going to lake Seminole

youre from Tenn and driving right past the best lake in the state of alabama to get to Eufala...Save yourself some gas money in the truck and spend your time on Guntersville in March...

I agree.. But if your dead set on eufuala.. In march watch out for the gators!

I was at Eufaula back in April. Fishing was just "okay." I did catch fish but nothing to brag about for sure. The locals told me the fishing was not on par with what it usually is. Whatever that means. There definitely are some very large lizards there. Much bigger than any I saw in fishing for 4 years on the Mobile/Tensaw Delta. They won't bother you at all, but they do look pretty scary sometimes.

We go down there every year in march so we know all about the gators. lol We go to Guntersville alot too in the fall, just wondering if we should go to Eufala or maybe skip a year or something.
