JMO though
Both are good reels. I've never had a Revo, but I do have Curados. I know they are top notch. I've heard many say the Revos are as well. Make your choice and pay your money.![]()

Of course I talk to myself...sometimes I need expert advice.
Thanks! My local bait shop is trying to steer me away from the revo!

He says that's the one he prefers! Sells more of the curado then the revo sx! My first bait caster is bass pro tourney special! I like the way the revo feels!

Don't get me wrong.....I like Shimano reels.....but I also go for "Fit". The Daiwa's fit my hand more comfortable for the way I hold them as well as the Revos.
As I said......JMO![]()

I have a Revo Premier and I will tell you it Cast's just as good as some of my other reels.....I have 4 Zillions and a Alphas-Ffor my upper end reels. I also have a few cheaper models and its WAY better than those.

Can't go wrong with a curado 100d. I know they are discontinued, but you can find them on e-bay for a $100-120 and I like them better than shimano's new ones. I understand someone not wanting to put up with the headache of buying a used reel online, but I have had good luck with it in the past buying from reputable sellers.
I have both. I think you will be pleased with either one.

I agree... the Curado E series are very well built reels and with proper care will last a very long time.
.
I know Ardent was blowing out their Xs 600 models at 89.00 a piece, this is a very good reel, American Made, and is more then half off what they originally sold for.

Not sure how many they have left but may be worth looking into.
sold my curados and went to all revo's............![]()

Depends on what you use it for. The revo's will handle heavier line and there drags will turn a freight train which can help when that 8# er heads where you don't want her to get. The Curado's I owned in the past handled light line and small baits but had a much harder time handling big fish in heavy cover. Larry Brumley
