Phil thanks. I would love to buy yours just a little farther than I need to drive.
I hope this boat checks out. He said a little faded on top but I think it can be buffed out.
I'd like for you to have it but I would want to drive that far either![]()
I hope that boat checks out for you, thats a real good price.
Good luck and keep us posted![]()

As someone already mentioned, check the transom out. Also - may want to pull the lower unit plug and see what the lower unit fluid looks like and that there are no metal shavings on the plug and no water. If you already checked the compression, sounds like you could be good to go.![]()

looks like a decent price. I had a Cajun for quite a few years and it was a great boat. I road very well in rough stuff and was an all around great fishing boat. From what I learned Cajun was bought out by Champion and put under. The hulls are very similar to a Champion and they ride good too. You wont be disappointed go for it.
To check the transom you literally have to shake the shit out of the motor to see if you can see any part of the transom flexing, or better yet have the owner stand on the bottom of the motor and bounce it some while you are looking at the transom. You could also check to see if the holes wear the motor bolts or jackplate bolts are to see if the transom is rotten. From the pics it looks like a nice boat for the money, did you have the compression checked yourself or is just hearsay.

If possible have them do it in front of you, it would be a little piece of mind IMO. Maybe its just me but living about 30 minutes south of Chicago i dont trust to many people. Good luck![]()
