Mine is to master skipping... Ok, learn it enough to use it during a tx with accuracy... I am "ok" at it with a baitcaster, really need to put some time in using a spinning rod to be accurate

My first goal is to be a better angler across the board in my tournaments. Start to finish. Be able to adjust, put 5 in the boat everytime, and just make the right decisions on where and what to fish.
Secondly, I want to get 40 days this year or more. With work, family, chores, and all of lifes other details I feel this is a good number to try and reach without ending up in the doghouse!![]()
To continue to lose weight. I lost 70 pounds last year and I plan to lose another 80 this year. I know this is supposed to be fishing related and it is. You wouldn't believe how how hard it is to fish and load the boat and all that goes with bass fishing when you are 150 pounds overweight. The 70 pound loss helped a bunch with my balance, stamina, and backache while fishing.
I'll let you know how I do next year.
Don't worry Ma'am....
I'm only here for the Bass.

As for myself, the goal is to figure out how to catch the bigger fish more consistently. Almost every tournament I fished this year, I needed the one kicker fish to bump my self up 1-2 lbs to win some money. The 4+ lb fish was very hard to come by, and I need to figure out how I can get at least one every time I go out.

Amen brother. I've lost about 65 myself and I can tell a huge difference. The weight loss and being in better shape from exercise makes all the difference in the world when fishing a long day. My goal is to get out more than I did last year. 4-5 times was it last year.
Boatless Bank Trash for now
Go to different places. Hotel rooms are cheaper than a camper.

Mine is to learn how to use my HDS unit more effectively. Many the time I have been in the boat and thought I'm going to sit here and figure this thing out, then I say screw that, I'm going fishing.
You know what they say about New Year's resloutions? In one year and out the other.

Get better with a bait caster and fish my first TX.
I quit fishing tournaments several years ago and now I have been thinking that I would like to start fishing one now and then again. I don`t want to fish at the level of tournament that I used to just the small team stuff, just for fun.

Learn swimbait fishing. Already put in an order to Tackle Warehouse for a bunch of swimbait gear. I'm hoping some of the fish here in Ohio will cooperate, otherwise I'll have to try my luck with a few trips down south!
Finesse techniques. My goal for last year was c-rig, and it payed off big!
