Got a job for you joe
We need somebody to run an anglers choice circuit on pool 19 next year. Sounds like you'd be just the guy for it. I think you make 10-20 bucks per boat.
Alot of guys liked going to the championship on guntersville, and team supreme hasnt held a championship yet but still takes 30% of the entry fees....

Hmmm.... when I first read this I thought "NO". Then I thought "why not". Then I thought "yeah", then "no" again. So.... I guess I'm undecided. Sounds interesting though. I'll ponder it for awhile. Give me some details on what would be expected. Can I fish? How many tournaments? How many boats, would I have to secure permits? Stuff like that.

I think its a great idea!! I am originally from the Burlington area and I know there are alot of guys that would fish "local" tournaments. Even something that had a little travel like Sugema or three mile I dont think would be bad.

Youd have to go to the anglers choice website for total details but I think you have to hold 6 or 7 tournaments a year for points. I believe you may need permits but not sure with the iowa dnr. I would assume you can fish if you want, I know ken warren used to fish them and just came in 20 minutes early to get the scales and a tank set up, or if you have a side kick to help you, they could set up shop. In the past they've had anywhere from 10-25 boats. If you ran a good schedule and put some effort into say trophies and overall "showing" id think you could draw a good crowd. Ken warren did it before and had a pretty good system, it just didnt pan out enough for him to drive down from cedar rapids and spend the weekend here.... The tournaments this year have been drawing between 10-20 boats. It takes a little time, but you would be able to fish a circuit for free basically with the money you make off entries. Team supreme may hold a sugema schedule next year and if anglers choice had a river schedule that be cool.

I've fished 19 a lot. Have done VERY well there in the past. Not sure I wanna devote six + weekends to one pool though. I like to fish different areas whenever I can
