Hey Wags,

Have you been out on pool 13 lately?

We're running out of water in the community hole but they're still there. The lake's down almost 2.5ft this week alone. About time to start looking at other areas in the pool. It still amazes me the weights that have been caught in there this year with all of the pressure. I had a friend fish a little tourn. last Sunday and got 10th with over 17lbs.

Pool 13 probable puts out better stringer then and pool on the river.
They might as well call them Spring lake Tournaments.

Congrats Rick on kicking my butt once again last week. Maybe I need to trade the Ranger for a new Legend, no I just need to keep learning the river. Those Legend's sure look nice.

I was pre fishing for the All-American in Hot Springs last week.
It was mid 70's wearing shorts.
Saturday I drove 13 hours. To fish bass world on Sunday
and froze my butt off. 40 degrees at take-off, is ever going to warm up?
The fish don't even know what they are suppose to be doing.
That was Terry Acklys new Legend. Same as mine but the colors are
reversed.

I had heard Terry traded for a Legend they must be great boats to get him out of that Ranger, or your a heck of a salesman. Good Luck in the All American it could be your year.

Yes but not as much as I would like to, the O/T has been bad this year. But the times I have been out its been good. Nothing new just the same place as everyone else, but really happy to see the weights up this year.
My partner Jim Knight is in the same boat as I'm in with the O/T so we can not commit to anything at all this year. Hoping to get in some opens maybe.

Wags, You just about need to work O-T to afford boat gas money anymore.
I talked to a few guys that fished 13 Sunday. they were both at the dam
gettin there but kicked from the Spring Lake guys.
I helped get Legend in at Vacationland just north of Dubuque.
Terry likes his real well. He likes the finer details they put inside
the boat and the great ride.

I hope to see you out, I would like to take a look at your boat, I have not seen one up close yet. I'm still liking my old champ, as of now and the price of everything I do not see getting rid of here anytime soon.


Also get a day off today and look what its doing out side I can't get a break

We should hook up and fish sometime. If you want to fish out of
the Legend you will have to come up to Praire. I keep it
at my house up there. Nothing wrong with a Champ though.
I do have a old flat down here i'm trying to sell.

I just might take you up on that offer, have not spent much time up in Praire fishing but I know it can be real good
