Anxious to Run the new Etec

Just got my "old" Ranger back from C and O Marine with the new Etec 200 HO installed. Anxious to try it out this Friday and see the difference from my old GT.
What a great sounding engine that Etec is!!!!
Back to playing prop and setup again.
I am starting at 3 1/2" below pad with a 25p Gade reworked to 26p with cup by Mark. Also have a 26p Raker to try and a 25p FNR to try.
Any suggestions for a Ranger 391V with new Etec 200 HO? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My 2005 E-tec 250 sounds like a Singer Sewing Machine at 4800 RPM. Every E-tec I have listend to and started were great. Good luck. In case you don't know. Singer Sewing Machines were known for their quality, realibility, endurance, and ability to do more than what the company advertised. That is what I hope I see from my E-tec. I spent alot of $$$ to have an E-tec and believe they are the next generation in design. Good luck and tight lines...

    Yep,
Try a 27" tempest. or 28" Raker on your 391 about 3.25 on a 6" plate. The Ven/dicators on the 390/391's love the Merc prop, bad thing is you have to play with the hole plugs.

BT, Got the " Gade " yesterday; Looks good. I am betting that the Raker will be the winner. Let me know. Roger
